With many years of experience working in academic publishing and editing web content, I would like to offer proofreading and editing services to anyone looking for anything from proofreading a manuscript, to editing a website, which could be in need of a bit of a re-write!
In publishing roles, I do the following:

And I enter writing competitions when I can.
All of my roles have required the ability to adhere to a set of standards and they can be a set of web standards which are needed when writing for the web (I assisted in the writing and maintaining of some of these), and they can also be what's known as a house style. This one is more common with publishing houses and they are simply style guides which need to be followed when managing a company's portfolio of online/print content.
The main goal they share is consistency and that is what I strive to achieve in anything I do.
